We’ve talked about John Vanderslice a few times already this month, first with the release of his first single, “Fetal Horses” and then with a great bootleg from Bloomington, IN. Well, Vanderslice is now offering a second standout song, “Too Much Time” from his upcoming release, Romanian Names, for free download.

The other day we featured a new single by John Vanderslice, “Fetal Horses” from his new album, Romanian Names (available May 19th). Well, today we came across a great bootleg from just a couple days ago. This show, which is part of Vanderslice’s Gone Primitive Tour comes to us from Craig/Gnat and features a nice mix of old and new… songs from his earlier releases as well as a couple new songs from Romanian Names.

On May 19th John Vanderslice will release his new album, Romanian Names on Dead Oceans (his first with the label). This album is a follow-up to his 2007 release, Emerald City, which was recorded in the midst of anguishing legal limbo after a visa application for his French girlfriend was rejected by US immigration.
