It’s Friday and I’m afraid there is no Top 5 Most Played Songs list this week because I lost all the play count numbers when my computer crashed. Yes, my computer flipped out in exactly 3 months and 5 days. That, my friends, is a personal record for me.
See that picture on the left? That’s what my computer would have looked like if it were a desktop and if I wasn’t able to return it for a full refund. The nice computer store people even threw in a few oatmeal raisin cookies just to try to smooth things over with me. I told them that my beef wasn’t with them, it was with the shoddy computer manufacturer. But I took them cookies anyway…
All is not lost, though, because I remembered to backup everything this time…
Which is far different from the last time my other computer crapped out. I lost EVERYTHING because I wasn’t smart enough to just take the time and buy an backup external drive. Stupid, stupid, stupid. I lost all my music, all my documents, all my good porn, all my pictures, all my contacts, all my good porn, all my calendar dates, all my applications, and yes… all my good porn. The REALLY good stuff, if you know what I mean… and I think you know what I mean! (wink wink nudge nudge)
So instead of a Top 5 list today, I’m presenting you some remixes of classic 80′s tunes. There’s some good stuff here… one question, though.. did people actually call El DeBarge, “El?” I mean, doesn’t “El” mean “The?” So essentially, people would be saying, “Hey, The!” I guess anything can be a name… even something as ridiculous as “Swapmeet.”
Man alive, I forgot how much I love “Rock Me Amadeus.”

That version of “Rock Me Amadeus” more than made up for the horrendousness of that version of “Love Shack”, which not only made my ears bleed, it made my intestines turn inside out. Just sayin'.
