How are you spending Black Friday?
Like this?

Or maybe like this?

Or quite possibly making this?

YUM!!
(in case you were wondering, yes, that is, in fact, leftover turkey in that dish)
Well, no matter how you spend it, we hope that your Thanksgiving was filled with love, laughter, and more food than you could possibly fit on one plate.
There’s been a lot going on in the music blogging world this week, so we thought today would be a great day to fill your minds and iPods with some words and music from a few of our favorite sites… and speaking of our favorite sites, congratulations to Daytrotter and NYCTaper for making PC Magazine’s Top 50 Blogs of 2009 list!
Enjoy the links and the rest of your weekend! Before you go, make sure to grab our playlist inspired by this very day below in the Dig-It section.

~~ADDICTED TO VINYL was able to catch Springsteen’s show in Buffalo, where Bruce and the band performed Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ (lucky bastard). In his “Greetings from Buffalo…” post, Matt talks about his “dream ticket” and provides a great recording of the show.
~~BLOGNESS ON THE EDGE OF TOWN covered Springsteen’s “Last Dance” in Buffalo with videos, links, and more. He also helped set the record straight on all the retirement rumors.

~~JEFF VRABEL always entertains, and his latest Springsteen goes on hiatus, and there’s a waffle shortage. This week sucks. post is no exception.
~~NYCTAPER has posted FLAC and mp3 downloads of Sonic Youth’s November 24th show. He writes that “this capture is perhaps one of the best recordings we have ever offered on this site”.
~~LARGEHEARTEDBOY is keeping an updated Online Best of 2009 Music Lists list. He’s also got some free Holiday Music downloads to help get you in the spirit of the season.
