I do better listening to music with no lyrics when trying to actually concentrate. The lyrics distract me. Then again maybe if I listened to Dylan or someone whom I can't understand anyway, it wouldn't matter?
Is that a self portrait above? Have you pulled all your hair out in frustration or has the overload of synapse activity caused it to fall out?

Hah, I loved your tweets about your whole revision/studying for exams, they were so funny (I'm behindthestars on Twitter) I'm in much the same position ... but I have a thing with listening to music whilst studying- I can only do it when writing up notes, but when I'm trying to memorise and actually understand things, it interferes too much and I just end up listening to the music. I find it's good to have my music on shuffle, because then I actually listen to all the music on my computer, and songs I'm less familiar with, like discovering a new world..

sorry I've rambled! mega procrastination going on here!
Great list, and good luck with the studying :)
