Yes, Led Zeppelin DID save my ass.
It’s a terrifying story that involves a girl named Lorraine, a couple gallons of K-Y Jelly, some duct tape, a cassette tape of various Zeppelin songs, and about a dozen Pepperidge Farm smoked sausages… to make a long story short, let’s just say that we did get it out and no, the great state of Montana did NOT sue us.
Anyhow, I wanted to update you all on the story of Tyler Frost, the high school student that wanted to attend his girlfriend’s prom but was told by his principal that if he went, he’d be suspended and possibly expelled. I wrote about the story here.
So it seems that Frost DID go to his honey’s prom, and he DID end up getting suspended. This means that he won’t be able to take his final exams or graduate on time. What a crock of s**t. Frost explained that although the religious school he attends does have a “no dancing” clause in the student handbook, he didn’t feel it applied to dancing outside of the school grounds.
Apparently he was wrong. I guess if he danced in New Zealand he’d be suspended as well.
Or maybe in his bathroom. What if he did the classic I-Gotta-Pee Dance at school? Would he have been suspended?
Frost goes to on say that he felt he made the right decision and that it was worth the risk. This, of course, means that he got past first base.
Ahhhh… I remember the first time I got past first base. It was with a girl named Tamara Glockenshire. Sure, it cost me $50 and a pack of Bubbalicious, but a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do.
I applaud Frost and his decision. I think his school was WAY off base, and I hope that it gets hammered by the press. In an interview Frost gave to the Early Show, his stepfather mentioned a lawsuit in the works against the school. Do they have a case? I’m no lawyer, so I don’t know… I mean, he WAS warned… but does that mean anything?
