So this is kinda cool…
Empire of the Sun has launched a new photo hunt game where you use a computer generated magnifying glass to try to find the differences between several modified images. The quicker you find the differences, the higher your score. Now what you GET with that high score, other than the Fastest Empire of the Sun Photohunt Game Player EVER title, I’m not sure, but it’s fun, and who couldn’t use a little fun?
There are three difficulty levels – yep, you guessed it, Easy, Medium, and Hard, and the ten images used in the game were taken from the rich and surreal album artwork of their latest album, Walking on a Dream. To take a stab at finding the differences, click here. And once you play the game, if you’d like, you can click the link in the upper right hand corner of the site to sign up for Empire of the Sun’s mailing list. When you sign up, you get an exclusive download of a previously unreleased song, “Romance To Me”.
Walking on a Dream, was just released April 21st in the US. The album debuted at #21 in the UK, earned the band a Best Newcomer nomination for the Vodafone MTV Australia Awards, and both the album and “Walking on a Dream” single have already gone platinum in Australia.
