[LINK] The Line-Up for Lollapalooza 2009 has been announced. Depeche Mode, Tool, the Killers, Jane’s Addiction, Beastie Boys, and Kings of Leon will headline. Check out Billboard’s article for more info, including the full line-up.

[LINK] Longtown Sound is a radio show podcast that features indie artists from MySpace, Ariel Publicity, Podsafe Music Network and GarageBand. With features like “Peanut Butter Monday” and “Pancake Wednesday”, the podcast provides great new music and an entertaining show.

[LINK] Addicted to Vinyl has a fun new Cage Match Up posted – The last match up put Duran Duran’s Hungry Like The Wolf” up against Def Leppard’s “Rock of Ages” (I went with Duran Duran on that one), and the newest pins Cheap Trick against Belinda Carlisle. Swing on over to ATV, check out the vids, and let him know who gets your vote! ATV also picked up the Wilco “Ashes of American Flags” DVD on Record Store Day and has a great post about it, as well as a download of a live performance of “Wishful Thinking” (from the DVD) here.
[LINK] Green Day’s new single off their 21st Century Breakdown album, “Know Your Enemy”, hit the web late last week, and Viva la Mainstream! takes a closer look at the song. Stop by and take a look and listen. Video for “Know Your Enemy” is scheduled to come out on Friday. Stay tuned!
[LINK] Blogness on the Edge of Town posted a couple Springsteen covers done by 80′s pop rocker turned DJ, Greg Khin (remember the song “Jeopardy”?). Check out Khin’s takes on “For You” and “Rendezvous”, and see how Blogness’ Pete uses the word “foofy” in a sentence.

One last thing… not sure how many fans of Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” there are out there, but I came across this video the other day on Popsense. In the video about 100 “Single Ladies” break into a spontaneous performance of the famous dance in England’s Piccadilly Circus. The performance was to celebrate Trident’s announcement of its free Beyonce gig in November.
