A NOTE FROM JOSH (via JoshRitter.com)

“We were coming back from Philadelphia. It was two in the morning and it had to be eighty degrees. I had a temp job in the morning. Darius had a real job in Boston and Zack was due back in class the next day. Ahead of us somewhere on the George Washington Bridge, somebody was deciding whether or not to jump. We’d finished Golden Age of Radio that day, laying down the final tracks that same night, and we were all very tired.

The first time I heard a song of mine on the radio, it was ‘Me and Jiggs.’ The first time I heard someone else sing my song, it was ‘Come and Find Me.’ This record was the one that gave me my first peek at the possibilities of a life writing and playing music. I am indebted to those who have chosen to share in those possibilities with me.”
