NINJA

Nine Inch Nails and Jane’s Addiction have launched the official site for their upcoming tour, and they are offering a free six song Tour Sampler EP featuring exclusive unreleased tracks from Jane’s Addiction, Nine Inch Nails & Street Sweeper. All you need to do is enter your email address, and you’ll be send a link to download the EP. Pretty cool. Who says you can’t get anything for free anymore?

The six songs on the EP include two from Jane’s Addiction (studio versions of “Whores” and “Chip Away”, which also appear on their self-titled live Cd), two from Nine Inch Nails (studio versions of “Non-Entity” and “Not So Pretty Now”, which were both performed live during the With Teeth era), and two from Street Sweeper (“Clap for the Killers” and “The Oath”). Street Sweeper is Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello and The Coup’s Boots Riley.

NIN, Jane’s Addiction, and Street Sweeper will be heading out on tour this summer. Stop by ninja2009.com to grab the tour sampler and check out their upcoming summer tour dates.

Even if you don’t end up picking up the free EP (I don’t see why you wouldn’t), it’s worth checking out the NIN video on the site… the whole thing is done on stage with one camera… it really gives you an idea of what it’s like to be on stage with Reznor… very intense… and the drummer’s awesome to watch. But aren’t they all?
