Bo Bice will be hitting the road at the end of February for a short acoustic tour. According to his official site, the tour will start out in Sellersville, PA and will finish up in Warsaw, IN. Speaking from personal experience, Bice’s acoustic shows are always a hoot. The intimate setting suits him well… he’s a natural performer and storyteller, and has no problems bringing the audience into the stories behind the songs. For complete schedule, click here.
Bo has also announced two up and coming artists that will support him on this tour, Patrick Mitchell and Kelleigh Brannen.
Since leaving the American Idol stage, Bo has been busy at home, in the studio, and on the road. After releasing his second post-Idol album, See The Light, on his Sugar Money label, he and his band spent the last year touring the country in support of the album. In February 2008 Bice traveled to Kuwait and Afghanistan through the Stars for Stripes program to perform for US troops deployed in the region, and in November 2008 Bice and band returned to the region to once again perform and show appreciation to the men and women in our military.
Along with starting up the upcoming acoustic tour, Bo is currently working on a live album from the recent tours that he hopes to release in 2009.
If this acoustic tour finds Bo in or around your city, I hope you make it out to the show. Tell him Swap sent you. He’ll probably look at you and say, “Who in blue-blazes is that?” He’s just kidding, though… it’s just a joke between us.

Thanks so much for this wonderful article and download, Swap. Bo’s magnificent voice just shines in this download.
Bo’s acoustic tour in 2007 was awesome. Mr. Thomas Lee added so much to that tour, and there was some great rapport and banter going on between the two of them which added a lot of fun to those shows. ;) We’re going to miss Tommy terribly!
I’ll be sure to give Bo a big ol’ hug and wet sloppy kiss from Swap when I see him in West Dundee, IL and Warsaw, IN!! Oh wait… maybe I’d better just give him the message that Swap sent me. I don’t want to be hauled off by security! LOL!!
Yep, I think I’ll be at a few of Bo’s upcoming shows. Can’t wait to see his new mic stand in person!
Bo’s going to be rolling his eyes around when all of us tell him Swap sent us. Which we will. Can I say it at each show I attend? I loved the last acoustic tour, and I’m sure going to miss that handsome, multi-talented, sexy keyboard player he had with him last time around.
How many times do you think we can get Bo to say “blue blazes”? Count me in for twice!
You’re right susan. What’s his name again?
The more I see various artists perform around Nashville, both famous and unknown, the more I realize how special Bo is as a live performer. He connects. He draws you in. He draws you out of yourself. Rare qualities.
And a shoutout to Patrick Mitchell as one of his openers. He’s a talented guy.
Yeah for Bo. Love him.
