WHAT? It's over? Well crap, I know I could have beaten lulu1001 so she could have kept her perfect record of never winning anything. I have two thoughts today. Yes, only two. I don't care for "country" music. At least I don't think I do. I know that can be lots of things, yes, but today as I was listening to my itouch at work I realized how many songs I have on there that sound countryish to me ... and I really like them. Thought two is that I attribute this, in part, to you, Tommy. Do you realize what a wide range of music you like? Well you probably do, but isn't that an awesome thing! Many of the tunes I enjoy are the ones from your downloads over the years (my God, it actually has been years)and it's such a wide spectrum of sound! We used to hang out at this bar called The Joynt...coolest little "non-cool" (according to the "cool" kids) hangout EVER...and they played Zeppelin a lot (A-LOT), and this song just reminded me of sitting in the back playing darts with my friends :) Ahhh those were the days! "Shine" is one of those songs I liked until I heard it TOO MANY times on the radio. Why do they DO that??? Anyway, thanks for a fresh new listen to it...been awhile since I'd heard it. I love when the audience chimes in on the 'yeah's. Cool :) I'm not too familiar with Brad Paisley's music, but the lyrics on this one are good stuff. Really nice song. And what a great description of your memory. Music is amazing when it comes to capturing moments, isn't it? Ahhh "Oh My Sweet Carolina". That's my favorite Ryan Adams song too. Such a great song.
