I listened to the band intermittently beginning in ’76 (heard ‘ZOSO’ rampantly that Bicentennial summer) but it’s only been in the past several years that it was fully obvious to me how great they were.

I was at this 1975 San Diego show, and although I don’t remember the order of the songs, I do remember that the show opened with Over The Hills And Far Away.

I LOVE Led Zeppelin!! My oldest sister Kathy introduced me to them back in the 70′s when I was a kid! Then my step dad loved them..then in high school my group of friends all got on this Led Zeppelin kick. We drove around blasting it all the time! It was awesome!! Thanks so much for the downloads!! :)

Led Zeppelin and Rush (oh and KISS too) are a few of the bands I distinctly remember my brother and his college roommates turning me on to. Kashmir’s probably one of my favorite Zeppelin songs. Thank you for all the downloads! Look forward to part 2 :)

Oh, he introduced me to Billy Squier too…was it cool to be a Billy Squier fan back in the day? Or no? Man he’s got some good stuff. lol

This is great!! Did you know I had tickets to see them the year John Bonham died?? Yes, I’m old.

I agree with you, I love live Led Zep, I have a DVD of some old concert footage that is so cool to watch, and some of the songs they played so fast they almost sounded like different songs, you know? And I have to thank my sister Debbie for turning me on to them, she was cool and I wanted to be cool too so I stole her records all the time.

A friend of a friend used to be the drummer for ‘Lez Zeppelin’, an all female Led Zep tribute band. They’re pretty good, too.
